Roamin' with Roman Photo Tours was started for the sole purpose of running small photographic tours and maximizing the potential for great picture taking. These tours are not designed to be relaxing get-a-ways. We will start before dawn and be up until after the sun sets almost every day while taking most of our breaks during the mid-day hours. I've also been known to do some night time shooting! Check in our Tour information section to see what is and isn't included in the tours.

One of the goals of this company is to provide the best photographic experience and social environment for people who share a passion for photography. Although the tours are designed for all levels of photographers, they all do require a good deal of physical mobility as we go from one location to the next and not always over the best terrain. Some of the sites may require some hiking, so know your ability and check the details of each tour to see the physical level required; some are easier than others. The tours are limited in size from 4-6 people to ensure maximum enjoyment for all participants. If you are a serious photographer who wants to be led to stunning locations at the right times or a beginner and just want to learn more, this trip is for you. I will be there right beside you to provide help or answer any questions that you may have. We want people on these tours whose passion for photography is only exceeded by their passion for life.

Who is the Roman in Roamin' with Roman? My name is Roman Kurywczak and I love photography. Originally a graphic art major, I soon found myself combining my love of hiking and travel with photography. Even though the art major didn't materialize, the interest in photography never waned. Over the last fifteen years it has grown from a mild interest into a full blown passion. Many subjects interest me, from lighthouses and butterflies, to landscapes and birds; the only constant was getting the best image possible. Maybe the only thing better than taking great pictures, is sharing the experience with others who have the same passion.
